Public Speaking and Training

I am available for motivational speaking and training engagements for both public and corporate groups.

At speaking events I speak about my own struggles with chronic illness and depression; and the many adventures I've been through to manage both.  I bring out topics of mental health, wellbeing, resilience and the benefits of exercise...and of course about spreading kindness.

I can train small and large groups in many specific subjects as well as more facilitative team building events.

Topics I've previously covered include but not limited to:

  • Management

  • Leadership

  • Project Management

  • Assertiveness

  • Influencing

  • Negotiation

  • Speed reading

  • Managing meetings

  • Personal brand

  • Time management

  • Performance management

  • Process mapping

  • Remote team management

  • Matrix management

  • Creative thinking

I've delivered training in a wide variety of organisations including Essex County Council, Cancer Research UK, Barclays, RBS, Motorola, Vodafone, OCD-UK, Laing O'Rourke and the NHS.

Team building events can include MBTI assessments if needed and can cover the full spectrum from fun team building to me precise agreeing team visions and ways of working to dealing with underperforming team.

Contact me today to chat through how I can motivate your group.

“I think probably kindness is my number one attribute in a human being. I’ll put it before any of the things like courage, or bravery, or generosity, or anything else… Kindness—that simple word. To be kind—it covers everything, to my mind. If you’re kind that’s it.” —Roahl Dahl

I attended several of Neil's training sessions as part of a leadership training programme. I have been on many training courses and i must say that Neil is by far the best trainer I have ever had! His tailored courses are well thought out, delivered at the right pace and are very transferable & useful - I have incorporated many of his tools and techniques into my role. And he makes them extremely engaging and has a wealth of knowledge to draw upon. I also received some 1-1 coaching from Neil, which was excellent. Wholehearted recommendation!

I asked Neil to do some work with my team - running a £15m turnover business at the time. He was clearly someone with expertise and passion in personal and professional development and able to link the two. Neil ran a great coaching training session for the team. A man of professionalism, integrity and insight.

I cannot recommend Neil Bailey highly enough! I have attended several of his training courses, all of which I found to be incredibly inspirational; so inspirational in fact, that I asked him to create and deliver a tailored course for a number of colleagues to assist with the implementation of a new business process. Unsurprisingly, all that attended provided incredibly positive feedback and, in particular, commented on Neil’s ability to provide genuinely practical solutions to the problems being faced in their different work environments. Neil always provides refreshing, supportive and insightful guidance. I hope I have the opportunity to work with him again soon.
